A stainless steel heat shield does a good job of physically separating the turbo from the intercooler, but stainless conducts and re-radiates heat. Over a long pull or a hot lap, the shield itself becomes a warm surface sitting next to your intake charge. The reflective foil addresses this by lining the inside face of the shield with a material that bounces radiant heat back at its source rather than absorbing it. Application is straightforward: the foil is pre-cut to match the OVERTAKE Turbo Heatshield profile, so there's no trimming or guesswork. Peel the backing, press it to the inside of the shield, and your heat management setup is complete. Works best when installed as a pair with the OVERTAKE Turbo Heatshield.
